They want you to simply click on some phishing links, or update a program, install a fake application so that they can send you a specially crafted program or script. In these ways, hackers are exploiting the voice over IP stack whenever a call is initiated and they would send you a no.of special crafted packets that will allow them to hijack the execution program and therefore to execute malicious code.
